Pharmacy Intervention Manager
MedVentive's Pharmacy Intervention Manager identifies specific patients with opportunities for improvement in their prescription regimens. With access to data from across the entire health care continuum, PIM creates a complete drug registry for each patient. PIM then automatically generates requests to physicians to change specific patients to more cost effective or generic drugs, optimize dosages, and promote formulary compliance. Patients are alerted to the proposed switch with customized letters in multiple languages.
Physicians can provide feedback to PIM regarding prescription changes that are not clinically appropriate, eliminating repetitive reminders and raising physician productivity.
