Jonathan M. Niloff, MD, MBA, FACOG, FRCS, FACS, FACPE

Founder, Chairman & Chief Medical Officer

Founder, Chairman and Chief Medical Officer, Jonathan is also an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining MedVentive, Jonathan served as President of the Beth Israel Deaconess Physicians Organization, Medical Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology for its Affiliated Physicians Group, and Chief of Gynecology at New England Deaconess Hospital. He has deep expertise in all aspects of medical cost and quality improvement, and has published extensively on the topic of gynecologic oncology including the development of the CA125 test for ovarian cancer. Jonathan received his undergraduate education at The Johns Hopkins University, an MD degree from McGill University, and an MBA degree from Boston University.

Nancy J. Ham

President & CEO

Nancy has a proven track record of innovative and high energy leadership in establishing, developing, growing, and operating both private and public healthcare information technology companies. As President & CEO, Nancy is responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of the company, as well as managing MedVentive's day-to-day business operations. Most recently, she served as president of Sentillion, Inc., a leading innovator of identity and access management solutions for more than 350,000 caregivers practicing at over 500 hospitals. Prior to Sentillion, she was president of ProxyMed, Inc., the industry's second-largest independent medical claims clearinghouse with connectivity to over 450,000 providers, 30,000 pharmacies, 500 laboratories, and over 1,500 payers. Before ProxyMed, Nancy was responsible for managing more than $50 million in revenue as general manager of institutional and connectivity service Healtheon/WebMD Corporation. Additionally, she served as SVP, Business Development and CFO at ActaMed Corporation and spent five years in leveraged finance at GE Capital. Nancy holds a B.A. in economics from Duke University and a Masters in International Business Studies (MIBS) from the University of South Carolina.

Nancy G. Brown

Chief Growth Officer

Nancy G. Brown served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development of athenahealth and was responsible for identifying opportunities that drive growth and operational improvements. Previously she held the position of Senior Vice President of Clinical Service Development and spearheaded the creation of athenahealth’s clinical product line. She has more than 25 years experience in clinical research and automating clinical information systems, combining management, consulting and information technology skills. Prior to joining athenahealth in 2004 Nancy was a Senior Vice President at McKesson Corporation focused on marketing and strategic planning. Nancy joined McKesson in 1999 when it acquired a company she co-founded, Abaton.com, a provider of internet-based clinical solutions for the ambulatory market. Earlier Nancy spent eight years at Harvard Community Health Plan where she held several senior management roles. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science at University of New Hampshire, and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Mark Collins, CMA, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Mark joined MedVentive in 2003 and provides the financial oversight and guidance to ensure the company’s financial health. He has twenty years of progressive finance experience in the healthcare and technology industries. Mark spent thirteen years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in a variety of finance positions, the last as the senior manager responsible for self-insured accounting and reporting. He also has prior experience as a Comptroller at InfoMedtrics and Physician Web Link. Mark has a BS in accountancy from Bentley College and an MBA from Suffolk University.

Michael F. DeSimone

Vice President Business Development

Mike joined MedVentive in 2010 as Vice President of Business Development. In his role, Mike is responsible for providing the strategy, direction, and management of business partnerships and channel distribution for the organization. He also explores and develops relationships to provide innovative solutions within the healthcare industry.  Mike has been in the healthcare and benefit informatics business for 20 years working for national and international organizations such as IMS Health and Assurant Benefits. Most recently, Mike was Director of Payer Solutions at IMS where he was responsible for data acquisition and strategic partnerships.  Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from Merrimack College and a M.A. in Economics from the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire.

Susan Goldstein

Vice President, Client Services

Susan comes to MedVentive with an extensive background in healthcare including twenty years of experience in the care management arena. As VP of Client Services, Susan is responsible for understanding the unique requirements of every customer and helping them optimize their investment and partnership with MedVentive. She spent the beginning of her career within the provider community including multiple positions with the Henry Ford Health System and Lovelace Medical Group. She has spent her most recent years working for national and regional payers such as Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where she worked closely with clinical decision makers, using evidence-based medicine to develop cutting edge tools to help increase quality of care while reducing costs and mitigating trend. Susan holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts and a B.S. from Northeastern University.

John Lightfoot

Chief Technology Officer

John joined MedVentive in late 2008 as Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for providing the direction and management of the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver the company's products/services. John has 25 years of experience with health information technology leaders such as Partners Healthcare, MIT, Healthvision, and CSC. Most recently, he was CTO - North America for Orion Health. He is active in HIMSS and HL7. John graduated from Harvard College.
